Is your child interested in Umpiring?

Does your child enjoy playing baseball or softball? Have they a basic understanding of the rules of the game?  Do they sometimes disagree with an umpire's call during a game?

Being an umpire provides the opportunities to grow life skills such as communication, anger management, and conflict resolution. Umpiring will help develop social skills as they can learn to communicate with other umpires, players, coaches and league administrators.

If your child is older than or turning 12 in 2018 and is interested in being an umpire in the 2018 season email johnhawkings(at)gmail.com for details. If you are an adult and are interested in umping we would love to hear from you as well.
